If Descartes and ee cummings had a baby it would be this "Nouns and Verbs." Loved it.
I'll keep doing my
favourite verbs,
and one day
they'll be
nouns.
Of course advice I read somewhere was to Noun yourself as you what you want—for instance "I'm a writer" and you begin to believe it and become one. Didn't work so well then, but once I verbed I became the noun. "I'm a father!" :)
I love this, how beautiful. How gently we can wake up to see that we are not what we 'do', necessarily, but what we do, presence when cooking, seeing the sky, painting, walking, smiling at a neighbour. Thank you
You are so many of those nouns already - a writer, painter, artist...and we will test tonight if we can hand you that Singer badge! Until then, thank you for sharing this gem!
Terrific! And so beautiful to look at, too. A poem and a word-painting.
Thank you!

I loved this, could fully connect myself to these lines of your poem. Kudos to you and your art…

Loved it, especially the line, “But you wanted one noun, not seventeen verbs.”
Thank you, Binu!
This resonates deeply!
Love it! I turned my phone sideways and it looks like a landscape. So beautiful and controlled, this is!
Thanks, Pritam, for noticing such details that I also didn't :)
